One of the outreach ministries we support here at St. John XXIII is Helping Hands of St. Louis. On an ongoing basis, several days a month, parishioners prepare and serve a luncheon meal for clients of Helping Hands. We are looking for people who would be willing to prepare, cook, and slice a turkey in support of the meal preparation for their annual Thanksgiving feast. Turkeys will be available in the Roncalli Hall freezer beginning the week of November 9.
- The cooked and sliced turkey should be returned to the Roncalli Hall freezer no later than Sunday, November 22.
- Cooking bags, cooking pans, and extra large storage bags will be available in the Roncalli Hall kitchen.
If you would like to prepare and slice a turkey, please sign up using the form below, or reach out to Joni Donovan directly.
And thank you to our Knights of Columbus for funding this great project! Please know Helping Hands of St. Louis is so very appreciative of all the support provided by the parishioners of St. John XXIII. Thank you very much!
