50^North goes to the Zoo
As Seniors 60 and olde, we can take advantage of FREE admission and activities every Wednesday, so on September 3 we are heading out to the Toledo Zoo!
We picked Sept. 3 because on that day the Zoo will be partnering with the Area Office on Aging of Northwest Ohio, who will offer a fun day focused on seniors, including health screenings, safety tips and Zoo exploration! As an optional extra, enjoy lunch and entertainment in the Malawi Event Center.
To reserve and purchase lunch tickets in advance, contact the Area Office on Aging at 419-382-0624. There will be two lunch sessions: 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., so call in your reservation soon if you decide to go to lunch.

- Free small coffee & mini-donuts at the Timberline Bakery (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

50^North Potluck and The Best Dan Band
50^North is invited to the first potluck of the 2025-2026 season on Sept. 12 at 6:00 p.m. We will be enjoying the smooth sounds of our own Dan Cota and That Dan Band from 6:30 to 8:30. This promises to be a lively evening of food, chat and music for all. So plan to come and enjoy an evening with old and new friends.
50^North Enjoys Fall Colors on the Maumee!
50^North is taking a fall color cruise without leaving town. No need to go to New England in order to experience fall at its finest. Here's our plan: On October 11 at 1:00 p.m., 50^ North will be taking a Fall Color tour on the Sandpiper charter boat on the Maumee River.
